What you need
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 7–10 years in energy market analysis, production cost modeling, or power system economics
- Hands-on expertise with PROMOD and PAT (5+ years)
- Strong understanding of ISO/RTO markets, LMP pricing, and market operations
- Proven experience in basis risk, congestion, and curtailment analysis
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and statistical skills
Nice to have
- Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of power flow tools (PowerWorld, PSSE) and transmission fundamentals
- Strong familiarity with MISO & ERCOT markets
- Knowledge of solar, storage, and renewable energy technologies
