About this role
The Instrumentation and Commissioning Technician will support the startup and operational readiness of modular biogas to methanol production systems. Daily tasks include executing loop checks, instrument calibration, wiring verification, and I/O checkout activities to ensure systems meet design and performance requirements during commissioning. The role requires hands-on instrumentation experience and attention to detail, with responsibilities both at the factory and on project sites.

What you need
- 3+ years of hands-on instrumentation experience in an industrial, process, or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency calibrating and verifying pressure, temperature, and flow instruments
- Ability to read and work from P&IDs, instrument loop drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Experience with 4-20mA, thermocouple, and discrete signal types
- Familiarity with PLC I/O verification using an HMI or SCADA platform
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with natural gas processing, biogas, chemical processing, or internal combustion engine systems
- OSHA 10 and NEC 70E training
- Familiarity with Ignition SCADA / HMI platform
- Familiarity with J1939 CAN communications
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell I/O and tag structure familiarity
