The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at the Medical Center. What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent required; or one additional year of verified security experience in lieu of diploma
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to complete Conflict Management training within six months
- Valid Maryland driver’s license or valid license from the state of residence with no more than two points on the driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal records background check prior to employment

- At least one year of Health care Safety and Security experience preferred
- IAHSS Basic Officer Certification preferred, required for any promotion
