What you need
- 8 years of experience in battery-electric vehicle powertrain engineering, field quality, product quality, reliability, validation engineering, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, or a related technical discipline
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience investigating and resolving customer-facing EV powertrain concerns using objective evidence, vehicle data, component analysis, and structured problem-solving methods
- Experience leading cross-functional technical investigations and driving corrective actions through validated implementation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications.
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience with premium, high-performance, or high-volume battery-electric vehicles
- Experience in EV powertrain domains such as traction motors, power electronics, electric drive units, embedded controls, high-voltage distribution, thermal management, lubrication, or vehicle diagnostics
- Experience with CAN, UDS, diagnostic trouble code analysis, data logging, signal evaluation, diagnostic development, or vehicle communication protocols
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, control plans, change management, automotive launch processes, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, or high-voltage safety requirements.
