What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, supplier industrialization, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of direct experience supporting wiring harnesses, HV cables, power distribution systems, electromechanical assemblies, or similar automotive components
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and AIAG Core Tools
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA requirements, ISO standards, and applicable USCAR specifications
- Experience conducting supplier process audits, manufacturing assessments, and launch readiness reviews
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Strong planning and prioritization skills
- Experience leading technical organizations, mentoring engineers, and developing engineering standards
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
