About this role
As a Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer at Lucid, you will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing methods for automotive plastic and composite components. What you need
- BS in Engineering, MS preferred or equivalent experience in mechanical/industrial/plastic engineering or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) in automotive plastic & composite development
- Deep knowledge of thermoplastic molding and secondary processes (injection molding, extrusion, compression molding, etc.)
- Experience taking multiple new products from the concept phase through production
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools (i.e. Auros, Arena PLM)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
Nice to have
- Certification preferred - American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet’s, JMP, Minitab, JIRA and Tableau
