What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or architecture
- Experience supporting large-scale federal IT modernization programs, preferably within the VA or healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate AI-generated technical outputs for accuracy and compliance
- Strong experience with hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure)
- Experience designing enterprise infrastructure solutions involving virtualization, storage, networking, identity management, and compute environments
Nice to have
- Experience supporting VA systems including VistA, CPRS, or other healthcare IT platforms
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical systems in regulated environments
- Familiarity with MUMPS-based environments and assessing AI-generated analysis of legacy code
- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR
