What you need
- Diploma in chemical or mechanical engineering, or relevant qualifications in a related field
- Membership in a provincial engineering order in Canada as a licensed engineer or engineering intern
- At least 2 years of experience in process safety, chemical process industry, or industrial refrigeration
- Participation in risk analysis sessions (HAZOP, LOPA, What-If) as a secretary, participant, or facilitator
- Knowledge of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including CSA B52, IIAR, ASHRAE 15, ASME B31.5/B31.3, and CSA Z767

- Knowledge of PHA software (PHA-Pro, PHAWorks), process simulation tools, and AutoCAD, Revit, or Plant 3D
