About this role
In this role, you will support the Launch Operations Team in testing and launching the Spectrum vehicle, focusing on process improvements and data evaluation. You will model Pad behavior using collected data, ensuring high quality standards while handling flight hardware. What you need
- Enrolled in relevant field of study like aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid systems and cryogenics
- Experience in test data acquisition, reduction and evaluation (preferably involving Python or Matlab)
- Basic understanding of the design process of fluid and mechanical systems
- Organized, effective team player with high attention to detail
- Physical dexterity is required as working in confined spaces is necessary (including the ability to lift 25kg without assistance)
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with fluid systems and piping/tubing
- Knowledge rocket propulsion systems and/or structures
- Experience with Ecosim or similar simulation software
