What you need
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a high-density, mission-critical data center, colocation, cloud, HPC, research, or similarly demanding environment
- Exposure to Linux/Unix systems-administration and comfort working from the command line
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting server hardware, including CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, and network interfaces
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals across layers 1–3, with the ability to isolate complex connectivity, signal, and latency issues
- Experience designing, installing, certifying, and troubleshooting high-speed copper and fiber-optic cabling
- Familiarity with DCIM tools, asset management, inventory processes, and data center operational practices
Nice to have
- Preferred experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting GPU servers and accelerated-computing platforms, including structured failure analysis and hardware diagnostics
- Preferred experience with high-density cooling systems, including direct-to-chip (DTC) or direct liquid cooling (DLC)
- Preferred familiarity with HPC, high-performance storage, or large-scale compute-cluster environments
- Preferred experience writing scripts or automation using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar languages
- Preferred familiarity with network hardware, optics, and high-speed interconnect technologies
