About this role

As a Senior Board Test Operations Engineer, you will develop and maintain test programs for Graphcore circuit card assemblies, focusing on Flying Probe and ICT testing. Your role involves improving test coverage and production efficiency by analyzing test data and resolving PCB and test issues in collaboration with manufacturing partners. You will work closely with the Product Test and Diagnosis team, taking ownership of problems and driving improvements throughout the product design and manufacturing process.

What you need

  • Proven experience in PCBA and system product validation within production manufacturing test environments
  • Strong experience in advanced electronic system testing, including Teradyne, Keysight, and TRI test platforms; SPEA experience highly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of SMT/PCB manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms, with knowledge of AOI and AXI inspection capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with ISP/OBP CCA configuration and local/remote use of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, clock generators, SMUs, and PSUs
  • Proven ability to collaborate with external Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) test and manufacturing partners to support product validation and testing

Nice to have

  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of electronics
  • Experience of Aster TestWay for analysing electrical testability and test process coverage
  • Experience of general-purpose programming language (C, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Experience of Statistical Process Control and associated tools (run charts, control charts, etc.)
