What you need

  • Minimum 3 years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining commercial fire alarm systems
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (NEC), and applicable local fire and building codes
  • Experience reading construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
  • Ability to troubleshoot fire alarm systems and identify system deficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience programming fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Gamewell-FCI, Honeywell, Edwards, Siemens, or Fire-Lite
  • NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level I, II, or higher)
  • Experience with low-voltage systems including Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, or Security Systems
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or multi-site environments
