About this role
As a Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment, both in the shop and at customer job sites. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using technology to manage work orders, diagnose equipment issues, and perform repairs while ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA standards. You will also assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain documentation of your work.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate preferred
- EPA 608 certification is preferred, or ability to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
