What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience
- Strong understanding of software architecture and the ability to develop robust, maintainable software designs
- Fluent in C and C++
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in an embedded systems environment is preferred; candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong technical aptitude and relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of embedded hardware interfaces and communication protocols, such as CAN, SPI, I2C, PWM, UART, USB, ADC, DAC, Ethernet, and Modbus
- Experience with the full product design and development lifecycle, including requirements definition, software architecture and design, implementation, integration, testing, configuration management, and defect tracking
Nice to have
- Knowledge of electric vehicles (EVs) and/or EV charging systems
- Experience with FreeRTOS or other real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with FPGA and FPGA-based systems
- Exposure to Yocto Project and embedded Linux build systems
- Background in electronics and digital signal processing
