About this role
As a Senior Structural Engineer at DLR Group, you will engage in the design process of structural building systems, preparing detailed engineering drawings and performing design calculations. What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering
- 7+ years of building related structural engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
- Experience with BIM including Autodesk Revit workflow
- Goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving, creativity, and attention to detail
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California
- Experience with BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit Structural) workflow
- Experience and interest in sustainable building design
- Experience with design and construction of projects under DSA jurisdiction
