What you need
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, OR equivalent experience with relevant IT/networking certifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, lab operations, or a similar technical support role
- Strong hands-on experience administering and patching Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), Windows, and macOS systems
- Proficiency with Bash and Python scripting and building automations for repetitive systems administration workflows

- Experience deploying, imaging, and managing fleets of lab or end-user devices

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Red Hat/Linux certifications)
- Experience designing and deploying virtualization / VM infrastructure (VMware, KVM, Proxmox, or Hyper-V) at scale
- Familiarity with configuration management and fleet patching tools (e.g., Ansible, MDM, SCCM, Chef, or Puppet)
- Experience supporting lab or test environments with mixed hardware and operating-system platforms
