What you need
- 8+ years of experience building and managing large-scale, business-critical, high-throughput stateful applications in the cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in RDBMS and NoSQL: Deep knowledge in optimizing and tuning PostgreSQL, MySQL Amazon Aurora, MongoDB, and Cassandra
- Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Ability to code in Python or Java, with a solid grasp of shell scripting
- Demonstrated experience with high-availability databases and failover clustering
- Expert-level SQL skills and the ability to aid product teams in complex performance tuning and problem resolution

- Experience with database sharding technologies and extensions (e.g., Citus for PostgreSQL) is highly preferred but not required
