What you need

Experience with AWS data ecosystem (AWS Glue, EMR, Amazon Athena, DynamoDB, Lake Formation, Amazon S3, EventBridge)
Solid experience in Apache Spark/PySpark, Data Warehouse modeling (Amazon Redshift), Lakehouse, Open Table Formats (Iceberg/Delta), data contract, and schema evolution
Practical experience with Apache Airflow and solid experience in relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Knowledge in data governance, data lineage (OpenLineage), and observability tools (CloudWatch or DataDog)
DevOps culture, automation mindset, capacity planning skills, incident resolution, and continuous improvement capabilities

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon Bedrock, MCP Server, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Embeddings, Guardrails, Eval, and Spec Driven Development
Previous knowledge of SAS tools and proven history in large-scale migration projects
Active certifications in AWS or related data platforms
