About this role

As a Senior Consultant in Semantic Layer & Knowledge Architecture, you will drive Data & AI transformations for leading Pharma and MedTech companies. Your role involves advising decision-makers on semantic data architectures, developing target architectures for Semantic Layers, and supporting the evolution of the Data & AI portfolio in the Life Sciences sector. You will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and enhancement of Semantic Layers based on Knowledge Graphs and modern semantic metadata.

What you need

  • Several years of experience in the design and implementation of ontologies, taxonomies, Knowledge Graphs, and other knowledge models including requirements engineering in project or consulting environments
  • Solid experience with semantic technologies, graph databases, and Semantic Layer concepts (e.g., Neo4j, RDF, SPARQL, OWL, dbt Semantic Layer or warehouse-native approaches) and their integration into existing data platforms, AI platforms, and enterprise architectures
  • Experience in the Life Sciences sector (Pharma, MedTech, Healthcare, BioTech) or motivation to deeply engage in one of the most innovative and data-driven industries
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, ideally some experience in leading teams, and very good German and English skills
