About this role
As an Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Technician at BlackSky, you will support the assembly, testing, and delivery of satellites. Your daily tasks will involve mechanical assembly, inspection of electrical and mechanical components, executing tests, and participating in troubleshooting and process improvement activities. This role requires full-time presence in the Tukwila office and may involve travel to launch sites.

What you need
- Previous experience with lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- At least two years of experience in at least two of the following areas: wire harness assembly, PCA assembly and test, mechanical assembly, epoxy/adhesive preparation and application, electromechanical component, and/or system testing
- Able to perform moderate physical labor involving standing for extended durations, reaching and bending
- Capability to work in a dynamic, multi-task environment with frequently shifting priorities and technical challenges
- The ability to think independently while also embracing communication among a large and diverse set of project and company stakeholders
- Must be a US Person
Nice to have
- J-STD-001 soldering certification
- Previous experience (2-4 years) working on spaceflight hardware
- Experience with environmental test equipment
