About this role

What you need

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted psychologist license in at least one state where Backpack Health operates
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure in Georgia, Michigan, Virginia, and Illinois
  • Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations
  • Experience assessing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental, behavioral, emotional, or cognitive conditions
  • Strong knowledge of standardized psychological testing, diagnostic formulation, report writing, informed consent, test security, and professional ethics

Nice to have

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families strongly preferred
  • Previous supervision experience with Psychological Associates, trainees, or assessment professionals preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid, managed care, telehealth, multi-state practice, payer authorization, or psychological testing reimbursement is a plus
