About this role
As the Lead Clinical Psychologist at Backpack Health, you will be responsible for launching and leading the clinical psychology program, conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, and establishing clinical standards. What you need
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in at least one state where Backpack Health operates
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure in Georgia, Michigan, Virginia, and Illinois
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Experience assessing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental, behavioral, emotional, or cognitive conditions
- Strong knowledge of standardized psychological testing, diagnostic formulation, report writing, informed consent, test security, and professional ethics
Nice to have
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families strongly preferred
- Previous supervision experience with Psychological Associates, trainees, or assessment professionals preferred
- Experience with Medicaid, managed care, telehealth, multi-state practice, payer authorization, or psychological testing reimbursement is a plus
