About this role
As a Commercial Litigator & Appellate Specialist at Axiom, you will leverage your litigation expertise to assist in the development of legal AI models. Your day-to-day tasks will include creating litigation scenarios, conducting legal research, and collaborating with researchers to enhance model performance. You will also be responsible for reviewing model-generated legal analyses and identifying complex legal issues to improve AI capabilities.

What you need
- Active California Bar admission
- 5+ years of active legal practice experience, including BigLaw or litigation boutique experience
- Strong complex commercial litigation experience
- Experience with legal research and analysis, document drafting and review, and legal strategy
- Familiarity with CourtListener, Caselaw Access Project, and Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction
