What you need

  • High school diploma required
  • 3+ years of construction stormwater inspection experience plus a related bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of stormwater management and construction experience in lieu of a degree
  • Thorough understanding of the California Construction General Permit and environmental compliance requirements
  • Experience managing permit compliance activities through SMARTS, including NOIs, COIs, Annual Reports, Ad Hoc Reports, and NOTs
  • Strong written communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • QSP certification required

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with environmentally sensitive projects such as dewatering systems, spill prevention plans, and hazardous materials management
  • QSD certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, SMARTS, and development resource websites is highly desirable
