What you need
- High school diploma required
- 3+ years of construction stormwater inspection experience plus a related bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of stormwater management and construction experience in lieu of a degree
- Thorough understanding of the California Construction General Permit and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience managing permit compliance activities through SMARTS, including NOIs, COIs, Annual Reports, Ad Hoc Reports, and NOTs
- Strong written communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- QSP certification required
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience with environmentally sensitive projects such as dewatering systems, spill prevention plans, and hazardous materials management
- QSD certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, SMARTS, and development resource websites is highly desirable
