What you need
- 3-4 years of experience in community management, social/digital media, internal comms, or program management, ideally in education, tech, or a membership-based organization.
- Hands-on experience running an online community platform (e.g. Discourse, Circle, Slack, Discord, or similar) at scale.
- Proven ability to plan and write newsletters and other member communications that people actually read, with a consistent, on-brand voice.

- Experience planning and running community events, whether virtual, in-person, or hybrid.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and message across channels and audiences.

- Familiarity with community-led growth, ambassador, or referral programs.
- Experience with graphic or content tools (e.g. Canva) to support newsletters and social content.
